Fitment at a Glance
Everything you need to know to get the right Lock Off-Road wheels on your Tacoma. Replace this copy with model-year notes, offset guidance, and fitment tips for your customers.
Here's the short version before we get into the weeds. Every modern Tacoma runs a 6x139.7mm (6x5.5") bolt pattern. The detail that trips people up is the hub bore: 3rd gen trucks use 106.1mm, and the 4th gen dropped to 95.2mm with a switch to M14x1.5 studs. Get those three numbers right and you're 90% of the way to a clean fitment.

OEM Toyota Tacoma Wheel & Tire Specs
Before you bolt on anything aftermarket, it pays to know what rolled off the factory line. Toyota changed more than the sheet metal between the 3rd and 4th gen, and a few of those changes directly affect what wheels fit.
3rd Gen Tacoma (2016β2023)
The 3rd gen kept things consistent across the run: a 6x139.7mm bolt pattern, a 106.1mm hub bore, and M12x1.5 studs. Factory wheel sizes climbed by trim, from 16-inch wheels on the SR and SR5 up to 17s and 18s on the TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, and TRD Pro. Stock offsets sit in the conservative +25 to +30 range, which is why so many builds look tucked until you go aftermarket. If you want the short answer on the most popular upgrade, it's a 17x9 wheel wrapped in a 285/70R17, the setup more 3rd gen owners run than any other.
4th Gen Tacoma (2024+)
The 4th gen is where the spec sheet shifts. Toyota kept the 6x139.7mm bolt pattern, so the lug count looks familiar, but they shrank the hub bore to 95.2mm and moved to thicker M14x1.5 studs. That puts the new Tacoma on the same wheel platform as the 2022+ Tundra, the 2025+ 4Runner, and the Land Cruiser 250. Factory wheels run 17s and 18s, and the offsets jumped way up, with the SR sitting at +60 and most other trims at +55. Those high factory offsets tuck the wheels in deep, which means there's a lot of room to pull the stance out and fill the fenders once you move to an aftermarket offset.
* Aggressive fitment. Expect to need fender liner trimming, liner removal, or bracket and bolt removal to clear at full lock, and a lift on the widest negative-offset setups. Suggested tires are a starting point from real-world builds; confirm against your exact trim and suspension.
